Topic: Enjoy the grace of God in your life

Hebrews 11:6 KJV
[6] But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

What’s your plan to grow your faith? Your faith does not grow just because you said you are a Christian. It does not grow just because you go to church. Your faith grows by your deliberate effort to make it grow. And you have to take this very seriously since you need it to please God. The Bible says, without faith it is impossible to please God. If something is possible but difficult it is different but this one is not possible. Meaning that there is no short cut to pleasing God.

The word “please” used in that verse is the same word used for Jesus, where the Bible says “in whom I am well pleased”. That was the second time the voice came. The first time it was just this is “my beloved son”. By the second time Jesus had lived a great life of faith and God said I am well pleased, hear Him. You don’t please God just because you are born again, you are a worker or a leader in church. It is your life style that is based on the word. For physical strength, no one lives on the meal of yesterday. You get your meal daily.

Faith comes by hearing. You must feed on the word daily. And give what you are hearing the room to change your life. Don’t live the lifestyle that your mind tells you. Feed your spirit with the word so that it can lead you in life. The life that lives on the word is a faith life. Get the messages God has given us to be your companion daily. Listen to them and retain them in your heart. It is your tool to do the things that are pleasing to God. Amen!

Meditation

Matthew 17:2-3, 5-6 KJV
[2] and was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light. [3] And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
[5] While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. [6] And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.

Psalm 9-12, Proverbs 27
